Founded in 1983 by the Principal Partner, Obafunso Ogunkeye, but was registered in 1988 as a general law practice firm. It has over the last three decades of its existence grown to be one of the leading law firms in Ibadan South-West Nigeria.

Over the years, it has also built a reputation within the geographical area of its practice as a leading firm in commercial practice owing to its client base. Though the firm represents a broad array of individuals and organizations, the bulk of the firm’s clients is corporate organizations.

The practice scope of the firm includes but not limited to Corporate and Commercial practice; Master and Servant; Labour Law; Estate Planning, including Will preparation, and powers of attorney; Family Law, Client’s Representation, both before law enforcement and other government agencies; Banking, particularly debt recovery; Insurance cases; General Torts, including personal injury and product liability cases; Business Torts, including misrepresentation, fraud, and interference with contractual relations; Land and Real Estate matters, including perfection of title and securities, conducting searches,  leasing, evictions; Legal Advisory services; Corporate Tax Law and consultancy; Intellectual Property; Civil and Criminal litigation.

The law of firm of OGUNKEYE & OGUNKEYE prides itself in having maintained enduring client – counsel relationship with corporate clients such as Nigerian Breweries Plc, Union Bank of Nigeria Plc, Wema Bank Plc, Leadway Assurance Company Limited, Premier Feed Mills Company Limited, Pharmacists Council of Nigeria, etc., some of these relationships having existed for close to two decades.

Our team is made up of two partners, five associates and a highly motivated and efficient support staff that have the knowledge, skill and expertise to protect and defend the interest of the Company.
